House Republicans could introduce anti-survivor legislation as early as next week.

The Wall Street Journal has reported that a Republican proposal would allow schools to suspend or delay judicial proceedings while law enforcement conduct a criminal investigation. If this policy were enacted, survivors would be forced to choose between reporting to the police and going to school with their rapist. Republicans are also threatening that they will allow schools to choose which standard of evidence they apply in campus discipline, a move that would make it easy for schools to stack disciplinary proceedings against survivors.

Congress doesn’t understand what it’s like to be a survivor on campus. Share your story below and tell House Republicans why they shouldn’t make campuses more dangerous for survivors.
