Media coverage is a critical tool in a student activist’s playbook–– that’s why we are hosting a Survivor Activist Op-Ed Training for Sexual Assault Awareness Month. Join us, Wednesday, April 8th at 7pm EST. This is a great opportunity to learn from other survivor organizers about how to turn personal experiences into stories that shape political narratives.

Op-eds are a great way to get your message out, spur cultural change, and put pressure on the government or your college’s administration.

Thus far, Know Your IX has helped students place pieces in publications such as Vox, Vice, Teen Vogue, Time Magazine, HuffPost, The Chicago Tribune, The New York Daily News, The Baltimore Sun, The Tampa Bay Times, The Indianapolis Star, and The Forward.
